Aug 28 2019 Medtronic to Study New 7 Day Infusion Sets for Insulin Pumps. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA approved Medtronic to study a new longer lasting infusion set for insulin pumps. The study will enroll up to 150 people with type 1 diabetes aged 18 to 80. Users will wear Medtronic’s MiniMed 670G system for up to 7 days in the trial.
